This year we headed to Lake Martin for Memorial Day weekend and had a blast! We had so much fun hanging out with Mel Mel, Gil, uncle John, the cousins and all of Will's friends. To say the least, the boys were in HEAVEN! We did a lot of relaxing, swimming, seedoo riding, boat riding, popsicle eating, firework shooting, bonfire building.... Well, you get the jest!
This weekend the boys also learned a lot things every boy should know before they grow up. Will and Phillip had a lot of knowledge to bestow on them.
For example, Lesson 1: How to correctly hang a lizard from your ear
Lesson 3: The art of arm farts
Lesson 4: How to correctly light a bottle rocket and run for your life!
Lesson 5: How to take a bath in the lake. Aunt Mel Mel taught them how to do this!
There was also a lot of diving for rocks on this trip. The boys would scout out the rocks together, then Lendon would dive down and retrieve them. Collin's next job was to line the rocks strategically along the sea wall to display their "treasure". I just love their "teamwork"!
