This Easter marked the first time that we have been at our own house on Easter morning since this kids have been born. It was so nice to wake up in our own beds and attend our own church, though we did miss getting to spend this special day with our families.
The Easter bunny did come and visit us this year and Lendon was the first one up to scout out his Easter basket. I never get tired of his "bed head". Bless his heart, his hair is like this every morning! The bunny brought new kites, bubbles, googles, swim shoes, watches, candy and a whole host of other treats.
The boys were seasoned veterans at the point when it came to egg hunting so when we opened the door, it was on!
Collin knew he had to move fast to get any eggs with big brother around...
I didn't get any good Easter pictures before church and after church Collin had a slight meltdown. I guess all the excitement and candy was more than he could take, so no pictures of him in his church clothes on Easter Sunday. However, Lendon posed for me like a champ!
