Memorial Day Weekend

This year for Memorial Day our friends, Heath and Meghan Henig invited us down to the beach.  We were so excited to be able to hang out with them since they recently moved to Montgomery. This is the first vacation in three years without a pack n play.  The boys slept together in a double bed without any problems! MIRACLE!!  This was also the easiest vacation that we have been on since the kiddos have been born.  Obviously we had less "baby stuff" to haul around and they are more self-suffient and took great naps.  All in all,  it was our best family vacay yet!

 One of Joe's business parters offered up his villa in Seaside for us on Thursday so we drove down late in the afternoon just in time to get a few hours on the beach and in the pool.

Here are the boys enjoying some pool time and yes your eyes are not deceiving you,  Lendon knows how to swim and he is like a little fish!  We have not even started swimming lessons yet!  He can swim from one side of the pool to the other all by himself.  He also loves jumping off by himself and swimming to the stairs.  Joe and I are so proud of him!

Last year Collin wasn't really interested in swimming but this year has been a different story and he loves  jumping in to Joe and I .

On Friday, we met up with Heath, Meghan, and Mary Clark.  The boys were so excited to see Mary Clark!  Thank you so much Henigs for hosting us!  We had a blast!

Best friends...

Lendon loved "surfing".  This was right before we saw a shark right around the same area!  Thank goodness we only had one sighting and no trouble!
