Vacation Bible School, More Lake Fun, Water Ballon Wars

 SonWest Round up was our theme for VBS this year and it was awesome!  It was a great break from our other summer activities. The boys had so much fun with their friends and I taught third grade with an awesome group of ladies.

We also had a LOT of water ballon wars around the Baugh house this summer.  A LOT.
Here is how it goes EVERY time... Lendon taunts Collin until he throws all of his water balloons (which usually do not hit the intended target- aka-big brother). When Collin is out of ammunition,  Lendon attacks.  Maybe next year, little brother can devise a better plan of action.  Collin usually ends up wet, Lendon dry.  I must admit, Collin does have a sneaky side and has ventured into enemy territory to swipe some of Lendon's ammunition a few times- some of his proudest moments this summer!

We have even had some friends come over and join in the fun, including  the LaMaster kids and Uncle Drew who made a surprise visit one day.

The boys and I hit the lake one week when Joe was working.  It was just us, Mel Mel, Phillip and his friend Bennett.  The lake was so calm and we had so much fun just hanging out. 

The boys loved to canoe. 

Phillip and Bennett were kind enough to throw them a few times.

We took our baths, lake style...

And of course we took a sunset cruise by Chimney Rock...
