2 and 3 Year Check Ups

In July I took the boys in for their two and three year old check ups.  Yes, they were both a tad late, but life is a little chotic around here and these things tend to slip up on me.  However, I am very happy to report that the little muchkins are healthy, thriving and at the top of the growth charts.

Lendon weighed in at 40 pounds (95th  percentile) and 41 inches tall (95th percentile). He also now wears 4T to 5T clothes and a size 12 shoe!  In addition to being a "big boy" (literally) he has continued to develop into a sweet, loving, question asking, strong willed, very silly and sometimes moody little being.  He has an opinion on pretty much everything and always keeps me on my toes with his questions, some of which leave me scratching my head.  He also has quite the temper which keeps him in a bit of trouble these days.  

Lendon still sleeps with "night night" blanket and all of his furry friends (monkey, big al, baa and Poo Bear).  He is super athlectic and loves golfing, football, swimming, basketball and his favorite game is duck duck goose.  He also loves watching his "movies" and "shows".  Cars, Fox and the Hound, Over the Hedge, Toy Story, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Doc McStuffins and Lion King are just a few of his favorites.

Collin weighed in at 31 pounds (75-90th percentile) and is a 36 1/2 inches tall (90th percentile) with a head circumference of 19 inches (25-50th percentile).  Ummm... if you did not notice he has almost caught up with his big bro!  He still wears 3T clothes and wears a 9 to 9 1/2 size shoe.
Collin, our snuggler and his extremely tenderhearted but has a mischievous streak a mile long.  If he is quiet you better watch out!  Baby locks have not kept him out of anything because he always discovers a way to break them.  The child does everything with a smile even his troublemaking activities so I must admit it is really hard to keep a straight face with discipling him because that smile with just melt you!
He like his big brother is very athletic and a lefty!  He loves golf, swimming, baseball- pretty much anything that Lendon is doing, he is doing as well.  Of course the one exception is watching T.V.  He has begun to to slow down occasionally to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse but all and all he is just not interested.
Unfortunately we have still not been able to pry the paci from Collin but we are working on it and he is beginning to potty train so I am super pumped about that! He also sleeps with a multitude of blankets and a few favorite buddies (bunny, monkey and big al).

Gosh, I just love these boys and am one proud momma!
