Christmas Week

Like the rest of December, Christmas week was very eventful for us.  Early in week we went to Zoolight Safari at the Zoo.  We all had so much fun and the light display was beautiful.  Best of all we ran into Santa!  Since Collin did not get to go on the North Pole Express we had the perfect opportunity to tell Santa that Collin had been a really good boy and Lendon reminded him that he REALLY wanted a Mickey Mouse bike!

On Thursday the boys had their class Christmas parties.  To say that the kids were "over the top" when they got up from nap time and saw their room decorated for the party is an extreme understatement.   The morning of of the party, Lendon and Collin made some special reindeer food for their friends.

After the parties, we were pleasantly surprised with a visit from Aunt Mel, Philip and Sally and Ca-Ca showed us how he could be the cutest elf around!

 On Christmas Eve's Eve we were looking for some ways to entertain the stinkers so we decided what better place than the McWane Center!  We literally could stay and play for hours and not play at the same play/learning station twice.  Let me just put it this way... it was too cold outside to play and we had major cabin fever with two little boys that had a lot of energy to burn so Joe and I are very thankful for the McWane Center!
