The First week of Christmas we "Decked our Halls" and the boys loved all the decorations especially the our "big" Christmas tree in the foyer. As so as we plugged in the tree they apparently thought the lights were like candles and you can blow them out because they both enthusiastically tried to blow out the lights to no avail!
Lendon especially loved helping me decorate the Christmas tree this year. Collin loved helping as well, but after a few broken ornaments, we decided that he should just do more watching than participating this year. Lendon was so funny because he always wanted to put his ornaments very high on the tree "so that Ca-Ca couldn't get them." All in all we did pretty well and we are only down seven ornaments for the year.
Our niece, Ava, also turned four in December so we attended her birthday and had a blast!

And last but not least, we rounded off our first week of December by attending the Mountain Brook Christmas parade. The highlight of our day... the "man in red" of course!
