On the road again...Sandestin

Though we had not planned to go to beach until later in the summer, we decided to make a quick trip down south so that we could make sure we could hit the beach and ocean before the oil hit. We were lucky enough to stay at Aunt Mel and Uncle Gil's beach house in the Sandestin resort.  Thankfully the house has a pool because it was STEAMING HOT!  Lendon loves swimming and had a blast splashing around.  He also experienced swimmies for the first time.

This was Collin's first beach trip and he loved the salty air...
And of course the wild man enjoyed playing in the sand...

He was so happy that we let him play in the waves with his clothes on...

Who would have thought that one of Lendon's favorite play area would be at the wash out center?  The foot sprinkler was at the perfect height for him to cool down with a little H2O.

On our way home we stopped by Aunt Melanie's house to feed the kiddos.  To Lendon and Joe's great surprise there was a friendly game of baseball going on in their front yard so they just had to join in on the fun.  Colt decided he wanted to play as well and snatched the ball right out of Lendon's hand.  

Collin is still a little too young to play with the big boys, so he was content to hang out with Aunt Melanie and watch...
