In mid September, Joe had a meeting in Panama City so we decided to take an impromptu, family beach trip to Destin. The weather was absolutely fabulous and there were no crowds- perfect conditions for families with small children.
When we went down to Florida in May, the boys loved the beach but would have rather spent most of their time at the pool. Well, that has changed! They did not want to leave the beach. We had a couple of days of big waves and all that they wanted to do is "surf" on their boogie boards. They were so much fun to hang out. We also went put put golfing for the first time and the winner was MOMMY! Yep, I beat Joe on the last hole with a hole in one. Woo hoo!
We did not make a big sand castle but we did make a sand snowman!
