Halloween Day/ School Parties

Whew!  This year Halloween was a lot of fun but boy am I glad that it is over!  Halloween day was very busy and EXHAUSTING (at least for Joe and I).  We started our day with a super fun Halloween parade that the kiddos participated in at their school.  The kids were led by a drummer that made it so legit!  After that we went to the kid's classrooms to join them for their class parties and the sugar intake began and did not end until about 9 pm!

Lendon loves his teacher, Mrs. Tracey!

Collin and his teachers, Ms. Teresa and Ms. Joanne...

Collin and his classmates marching in the parade...

Joe and I laughed because anyone that knows Lendon knows that he is a "runner" so Ms. Tracey held onto his hand very tightly as they marched.

After the parade we were so excited to run into our friend, Julia Eaton!

I was really excited that the kiddos let me take a few pictures of them when we got home from school.

Who said Captain Hook and Peter Pan can't be friends?

Later that night we finally got to go "trick or treating".  The suspense was killing the kids!  Of course the first house that we hit was our favorite neighbor, Ms. Sherry.  Lets just say that she loaded them with so much chocolate that we probably could have stopped there but that just would not do for the boys.  So, we went and did some "trick or treating" with some church friends.  At 9:00 pm, we finally got the boys into bed after quite the struggle.  What a great Halloween!
